Purpose
State whether the discussion concerns investment, company creation, a pilot, or specialist support.
Explore the ways STIPDOT approaches collaboration with founders, researchers, operators, and commercial partners.
A useful partnership starts by agreeing on the problem, the evidence, and the decisions ahead. Investment and Studio are different paths: one supports an existing founding team, while the other explores whether an insight can become a new company.
A design partnership should define a real workflow, a responsible owner, access boundaries, and a measurable result. A successful pilot produces evidence about adoption and value, including the conditions under which the product does not work.
Technical insight and practical expertise are most useful together. A collaboration can start with a problem interview, a prototype review, or a tightly scoped validation project, with ownership and expectations agreed before work begins.
This page describes our partnership approach. It is not a portfolio list, a record of completed investments, or an endorsement of any company. For a proposed collaboration, use the founder brief to describe the opportunity and the contribution you are seeking.
Different collaborations call for different commitments. A clear scope protects the work and the people doing it.
State whether the discussion concerns investment, company creation, a pilot, or specialist support.
Make time, capital, access, technical work, and ownership expectations explicit.
Agree how to assess progress and how either side can bring an exploration to a close.
